A major built in flaw from Subaru is the wimpy turbo inlet tube. Made from weak thin walled plastic and corrugated to boot, it is a recipe to fail! And fail they have. A recent inspection of our 2002 WRX Project car we, revealed to failures. One leak at the BOV crossover, another at the turbo itself. This caused vacuum leaks, drivability was terrible etc. A quick 45minutes of labor later and idle was smooth, no leaks, no backfiring and BETTER performance! The superior construction of the PERRIN inlet has solved the problem!

The PERRIN inlet hose is also able make more HP, smooth throttle response, and improve acceleration! By removing the pleats found in the OEM hose, increase the internal diameter, and mirror smooth finish reduce intake restriction. Thus more HP. Check out the charts page for dyno results!
